Belén Millán

Belén Millán is a Spanish-American multi-media artist. The climate crisis and its extreme consequences in her own backyard moved her out of her studio into the outdoors, where she creates bold installations that she documents in photography and video.

Since 2020, Belén has focused her artistic research and vision on the intrusion of microplastics into nature and human beings. Belén will be presenting (IN)visible, her third art video in a trilogy dedicated to giving visibility to microplastics. Her first video, Plastic Plasma, was the recipient of the Ateneo-University of Málaga video award.
